Salem, OR – Salem Fire Department crews responded to a structure fire in South Salem on April 26, quickly working to contain the blaze and prevent further damage.
Units were initially dispatched to a fire alarm, but upon arrival discovered fire inside a wall.
The incident was upgraded, prompting crews to begin fire attack operations while additional units checked for fire extension and provided ventilation.
Firefighters opened up walls and accessed attic space to fully extinguish the fire and ensure it had not spread further.
No injuries were reported.
Officials said the quick actions of responding crews helped contain the fire and limit damage to the home.
