Salem, OR – Salem Fire Department crews responded to a structure fire in South Salem on the morning of April 25, bringing the blaze under control before it could spread further through the home.
First-arriving units encountered a room and contents fire and quickly extinguished it with a first-alarm response.
Crews worked to prevent the fire from extending beyond the initial area.
The fire caused damage to multiple rooms and belongings inside the home. Five adults, two children, and two pets were displaced as a result.
No injuries were reported.
Officials said the quick response and coordinated efforts of firefighters helped contain the fire and protect the remainder of the residence.
