Salem Police Department promotes recruitment ahead of community college hiring fair

Salem, OR – The Salem Police Department announced its participation in an upcoming recruiting fair at Chemeketa Community College as part of efforts to connect with potential future officers.

In a brief statement, the department said it is looking forward to engaging with students and community members during the event scheduled for the following day.

Officials said the recruiting effort is part of ongoing outreach aimed at encouraging interest in law enforcement careers and building future staffing within the department.

The department has continued participating in local recruitment events in collaboration with educational institutions to highlight opportunities in policing and public service.
